Cancellation Policy:

  • We value your time just as much as we do ours. All cancellations should be made as early as possible to allow for another client to fill that time-slot. A 24-hour cancellation notice is greatly appreciated.
  • Missed appointment or “no shows” leave gaps in our schedule that cannot be filled without timely notice. This notification courtesy enables us to schedule another client and, in turn, maintain a higher availability of services for you as well as others.
  • Due to scheduling commitments to other clients’ schedules, we may need to reschedule any appointment for which you are more than 10 minutes late.
  • We hope you understand the need for these policies. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

What forms of payment are accepted?


We accept cash and credit cards for all services. We do NOT accept Cashapp

We also accept Quadpay. This option must be selected during the booking of your appointment. You can NOT select this option on the day of your services.

Physical Products and Luxe By La Hair:

All items in our shop section must be purchase via the website. The only forms of payment available at this time are credit cards and Quadpay.

What debit or credit cards do you accept?

We accept any US-issued and most internationally-issued magstripe or chip cards bearing a VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB or UnionPay logo.

Should I wash my hair before my braiding appointment?

ABSOLUTELY!! Product build up and natural oils can interfere with the braiding service. Washing your hair 12-24 hours prior to your appointment will help us proved consistent results.

Do you provide services for men?

We do offer services for me. Please check services for rates and booking.

How long can I keep my braids in?

We don’t recommend longer than 3-months. Your natural hair (new growth) will get twisted and start to lock on its own after 3-months. By allowing your hair to do this you will cause breakage, which can lead to severe hair loss.

How many packs do I need to complete my style?

It varies depending on the thickness, length and style your having done. Typical styles can range any where from 4 to 13 packs. We provide hair to all our clients having their hair done at our salon. If you are having your hair done at another location we recommend you consult with your braider regarding the quantity required for the specific style you are considering.

How often should I wash my hair while wearing braids?

We recommend washing your hair every 3-4 weeks or more often as needed to keep your scalp clean and moisturized.

How do I book an appointment?

To book an appointment you can click on the services tab and select the service you wish to book. If you need assistance selecting a service please fill out the contact us form by clicking contact us at the top of the page. We generally answer emails within 24 hours.

Why does Studio Luxe By La offer its own hair brand?

We are focused on providing the highest quality light weight anti-bacterial braiding hair.

By offering our own brand of hair we also help customers reduce the time at the local beauty supply store trying to figure out what the correct color or brand will work for them.

Our hair has been tested and will out preform many of the leading brands.

Why am I not seeing the service I’m looking for?

If you aren’t seeing the service you would like, it’s because we do not offer that service.

We only add services once we have perfected them.

Does Studio Luxe offer hair to other braiders?

Yes, please use our contact us form to inquire about purchasing hair for your clients.

Will there be a lot of hair breakage when removing my braids?

There shouldn’t be any breakage if the braids are properly unraveled slowly and carefully. However, you may find some natural hair shedding, which can look like breakage. We offer braid removal services if you are concerned with breakage.

Do braids weaken your natural hair?

Braids are a great protective style and should not weaken your natural hair with proper care. However, it is very important to take breaks in-between braids to give your hair an opportunity to rest and  prevent any weakening.

How long will it take my braids to dry?

It generally takes about 2-4 hours depending on the thickness and length of your braids; thicker and longer will take more time to dry. After washing, pat dry or gently squeeze the braids with a towel, and allow the hair to air dry completely.

We are not responsible for items not picked up at the end of 30 days. Items not picked up at the end of 30 days will become the property of Studio Luxe By La without further notice. WE WILL NOT CALL YOU FOR PICK-UP; you are responsible for marking your calendar. If you chose to pick up your items you are responsible for picking them up in a timely manner.
